Service area
Alpha Gray Security holds a Virginia DCJS license, which makes the Commonwealth our territory from the start. Our home base is Mount Crawford, Virginia 22841. Our officers are actively serving Charlottesville today, and we are expanding into new areas as clients need them.
Coverage schematic
01 · Home base
Where the company runs from — Mount Crawford, Virginia 22841, just south of Harrisonburg on the I-81 corridor. An officer here is a short drive from the office, and a walkthrough can usually be arranged within a day.
02 · Actively serving
Where our officers are on the ground right now. Apartment communities, storefronts, job sites and events through the city and the counties around it, along the Route 29 and I-64 corridors.
03 · Statewide, by arrangement
Our DCJS license covers the whole Commonwealth, and fixed coverage and scheduled patrols can be staffed anywhere in it. Longer assignments are built deliberately — the officer and the relief are both assigned before the first shift.
04 · Expanding
Alpha Gray Security is growing into new territory on purpose, not by accident. An ongoing assignment is usually what opens an area — so if your property is somewhere we do not work yet, it is worth asking.
A property three hours away is not impossible — it just has to be built so the officer is on site at the right time, every time, instead of arriving tired. Here is how we handle it honestly.
Mount Crawford & the Valley
Short notice is realistic. Same-day walkthroughs, next-day coverage.
Charlottesville & Albemarle
Officers on the ground now, on a schedule you set.
Further out in Virginia
Longer shifts, clustered days, or a relief officer assigned in advance.
Vehicle patrol
Scheduled checkpoints
Expanding
Alpha Gray Security is growing deliberately. Mount Crawford is home, Charlottesville is where our officers are working every week, and the rest of the Commonwealth is where we are heading. If you manage a property in an area we do not list yet, it is worth the call — an ongoing assignment is usually what opens a new area.
